Glasgow Climate Festival, Saturday 9th April George Square

Glasgow Climate Festival, Saturday 9th April, 2-5pm, George Square, Glasgow. FREE EVENT, family friendly and open for all!

Over the past few years communities around Scotland have been doing fabulous work around climate change with their users on areas around food growing, reducing amount of resources used, eco transport and improving energy efficiency. These projects were funded by the Climate Challenge Fund by Keep Scotland Beautiful. They have been rising to the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Pledge, with plans to improve their environment and drive down carbon emissions.

With a further release of almost £10 million for communities to carry on this work, this is a fabulous opportunity to come together to celebrate what has been achieved so far and the great projects planned for the future. Groups from all over Glasgow and LEAP from Renfrewshire have come together to showcase their exciting work. Join us on Saturday 9th April between 2 and 5pm at George Square for a fantastic event with music and entertainers and suitable for all age groups. Please share this event and we hope to see you there.
