About the event
Bloco Winnoch's directors Doug and Damo will introduce you to the percussion instruments of a samba band and show you how it's played in Brazil. By the end of the session the group will be playing a full scale Brazilian rhythm with breaks.
Following this session there will be a new intake with opportunity for new members  to join the band for an Autumn / Winter block of rehearsals and some local performances.
Sessions are offered free. We will operate a waiting list so please let us know if for any reason you're unable to attend.
