Fermenting Workshop (Free Event)

Join Bora for this hands-on event and learn the basic skills of fermenting. Participants will be able to make one ferment to take home adn will revceive a jar of a pre-made ferment. There will also be food to try and literature connected to fermenting for reference purposes only. This is a relaxed session where you will be able to chat and share some food, while learning two methods of fermenting as part of a small participatory group. The idea behind this workshop is to share the work of fermenting while also sharing the produce, as part of a community. The evening will begin with a light supper trying ferments alongside other foods. You will then take part in preparing ingredients and learning the process of fermenting. At the end of the session you will be able to take home a portion of what you create together. All ingredients will be provided. If you can bring your own big glass jar, please do. Otherwsie we will be able to provide one.
