About the event

This year the Feel Good Festival brings you our first ever Halloween parade. We're still developing plans and will update here as everythig slots in to place. But what you can expect is a series of creative workshops on the run-up making flags, lanterns and costumes which can be showcased in not just one, but two parades, as we've been invited to take it on tour to OneRen's Paisley Halloween Festival parade Saturday 26th October as well!!

We're delighted to confirm that Bloco Winnoch will be taking part in both parades and we'll also be hosting a celebration at the end of the Lochwinnoch event with games and entertainment, where kids can grab a bite to eat before they head out guising.

Keep an eye out for our creative workshop details - if you want to learn how to make a lantern we have some workshops for you to join. If you can sew, we would love your help to make some flags and costumes. And we would love to hear from anyone who wants to learn some chorepgraphy with Jane Simpson to join our flag waving team! If you're part of a community group which would like to contribute it's own bit of creativity to the parade, we would love to know about it.

We'll share details soon of all the individual workshops and hope for these to span all age groups. If you have any queries or want to know anything about the event please get in touch at feelgood@myleapproject.org

We're looking for volunteers for a range of roles and also donations of materials. If you've got fabric or other items which could be used we would love to hear from you. We'll need volunteer stewards for the Lochwinnoch events too.
