About the event

This event is hosted in Partnership between Thamma Thai Wellness and Tan Massage Academy.

If you’re interested in or curious about Buddhist Dharma, this is a good way in to finding out more about the theory and practice. Master Tan has a pragmatic approach to the topic and ties aspects of the teachings to practical, everyday situations. Tan will also introduce techniques to help you cope with common complaints - headaches and office syndrome, - and you’ll be given the chance to practice these with his guidance. The workshop is priced at £15 per person. To book a space please visit www.thammathaiwellness.com or call Brendan on 07979284257.

About Master Tan, a Traditional Thai Massage healer and teacher:

Master Tan is a traditional Thai massage healer and teacher based in Germany, with many years of experience, and he wishes to share his compassion in Thai massage and Buddhist practice. He has taught various aspects of Thai massage healing and mindfulness and mediation in many countries in Europe.

His first visit to Scotland was in 2013 (Kilbirnie/Edinburgh) and he came again in 2017 (Beith Trust, Geilsland, Beith) and he travelled to Lochwinnoch in 2022, 2023 and 2024 to deliver sold-out mediation workshops as part of previous Feel Good Festivals. All workshops were organised in partnership with Moonie and Brendan of Thamma Thai Wellness, Lochwinnoch.

Tan has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Thai massage and Dharma (Buddha’s teaching). A number of Thai massage therapists in Germany and Switzerland as well as us in Scotland are part of the Tan Massage Academy family, and Tan and our fellow therapists organise workshops, courses and events in Europe for all the members. We’re aiming to grow the family in more countries in Europe in the future. This year the Tan Massage Academy family shone at the International Massage Championships in Athens, Sarajevo and Copenhagen.
