About the event

We're excited to share plans of this year's first ever Feel Good Festival Halloween Parade. Infact, there are two of them! It's happening once in the village on the 31st October (we'll be keeping it punchy to make sure the kids still get out guising, don't worry) but we've also been invited to take it on tour to Paisley for their Halloween Festival Parade Saturday 26th October. Our theme is Scottish Mythology and Folklore....

Bringing together some of Lochwinnoch's own amazing artists and creatives we have a strong Team working to bring you a high quality parade. You can get invovled too - there will be community workshops making large-scale feature lanterns so if you're interested in learning this skill, or in taking part in the celebration in any way, please get in touch: feelgood@myleapproject.org

We already have 40 local kids making smaller lanterns through workshops hosted at Lochwinnoch Primary School, and these children will be invited to make up part of both parades if they want to.

If you're invovled in a community group which would like to make something, we would love to hear from you. We can maybe even help with materials and providing time with an Artist if that is required. We want people of all ages to be part of it.

We're delighted to confirm that Bloco Winnoch and Absurdist Pipe Band will both be performing in the parade too. Basically, this is the ultimate showcase of the incredible creative talent Lochwinnoch has to offer. The parade will be followed by a short celebration in the Park - we have a surprise finale planned for this. Don't miss out. We will provide free hotdogs for the kids before they head out guising, and a dry space for getting changed if required.

We're looking for volunteers for a range of roles and also donations of materials. If you've got fabric or other items which could be used we would love to hear from you. We'll would also welcome volunteer stewards for the Lochwinnoch leg. Get in touch if you're interested.
