Movement In Stillness - Thamma Thai Wellness

In contrast to, or, rather, in harmony with the Stillness in Movement workshop on the previous evening, we have Movement in Stillness. Master Tan will lead us on a physically motionless journey within ourselves in which our consciousness and energy travels inwardly. Master Tan teaches the idea that although our bodies are motionless, we are able to move, to check in with our body and mind.

About Master Tan, a Traditional Thai Massage healer and teacher:

Master Tan is a traditional Thai massage healer and teacher based in Germany, with many years of experience, and he wishes to share his compassion in Thai massage and Buddhist practice. He has taught various aspects of Thai massage healing and mindfulness and mediation in many countries in Europe. 

His first visit to Scotland was in 2013 (Kilbirnie/Edinburgh) and he came again in 2017 (Beith Trust, Geilsland, Beith) and he travelled to Lochwinnoch in 2022 to deliver sold-out mediation workshops as part of last year's Feel Good Festival. 

All workshops were organised in partnership with Moonie, Thamma Thai Wellness, Lochwinnoch. Tan and his Team entered the World Massage Championship 2023 - International Massage Association where Tan won first place across the multidisciplne competition, with many of his pupils also scooping up prizes and places in various categories.

Tan, along with other members of Thamma's incredible network and Tan's Massage Academy, who are travelling from across Europe, can be met at our Wellbeing Fair where they will be offering free Thai Massage Taster Treatments. We're so excited to have them involved in this year's festival.
