About the event

We all know that self-care is good for us but in the busyness of life, how easy is it, in reality, to take care of ourselves in a way that we might like? Ultimately, we may end up suffering further from the guilt that becomes associated with this common experience of every day living.

However, if we consider the small and achievable possibilities of attending to self-care in a holistic way the benefits can be many.   In this workshop we will explore the four key areas of self-care: physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual - which can help us take care of our overall wellbeing.  We will do so in a fun and guilt-free way using creative action methods which can be both energising and powerful. The group will offer a supportive and confidential space, where you will be encouraged to participate in a way that suits you.

You will have the opportunity to create your own personal self-care quadrant, with the option of sharing this with the group. In this way we can inspire and be inspired by one another. By the end of the session, we will aim to co-create an interactive, shared, and collective self-care resource to support the body, mind, heart, and spirit.

This workshop is offered free funded by Lochwinnoch Feel Good Festival.
