Stillness In Movement - Thamma Thai Wellness
The central idea of this concept is that as we move through the day and our lives, we should aim to maintain an inner calm, an inner balance. In this workshop Master Tan will guide participants through activities which will help them practise this.

About the event
This workshop is led by Master Tan, a Traditional Thai Massage healer and teacher based in Germany. It will give participants the opportunity to learn about and practise some of the foundations of meditation originating from the Buddha’s teaching. These foundations will help us to become present in our daily lives and aware of our most everyday actions, understanding the sense of how meditation philosophy is applicable to each part of your daily life.

About Master Tan, a Traditional Thai Massage healer and teacher:
Master Tan is a traditional Thai massage healer and teacher based in Germany, with many years of experience, and he wishes to share his compassion in Thai massage and Buddhist practice. He has taught various aspects of Thai massage healing and mindfulness and mediation in many countries in Europe.
His first visit to Scotland was in 2013 (Kilbirnie/Edinburgh) and he came again in 2017 (Beith Trust, Geilsland, Beith) and he travelled to Lochwinnoch in 2022 to deliver sold-out mediation workshops as part of last year's Feel Good Festival. All workshops were organised in partnership with Moonie, Thamma Thai Wellness, Lochwinnoch.
Tan and his Team entered the World Massage Championship 2023 - International Massage Association where Tan won first place across the multidisciplne competition, with many of his pupils also scooping up prizes and places in various categories.
Tan, along with other members of Thamma's incredible network and Tan's Massage Academy, who are travelling from across Europe, can be met at our Wellbeing Fair where they will be offering free Thai Massage Taster Treatments. We're so excited to have them invovled in this year's festival.
