Sharon Kerrigan from Wander and Wonder says:

Wander & Wonder was born out of a lifelong passion for wild food and a desire to share the wonders of nature's pantry with others. Growing up, I found joy in traditional foraging activities like berry and nut picking, sparking a curiosity that would eventually lead me on a journey of discovery.

As an adult, I realised the vast array of wild foods spanning across our coastal, woodland, and hedgerow areas. It became clear to me that many people were unaware of the nutrient-filled, delicious goods waiting to be harvested right in their own backyards.

In 2022, I founded Wander & Wonder with a mission to educate, inspire, and promote a deeper connection with nature's bounty. With a strict emphasis on safety and sustainability, our platform aims to empower individuals to explore the diverse landscapes of Scotland and the UK while learning about the different types of wild foods they can forage.

One of the highlights of Wander & Wonder is our 'Wild Walks,' where participants can join me in exploring local communities and uncovering edible treasures. During these immersive experiences, we spend 2 to 3 hours identifying edible wild foods and their toxic lookalikes, culminating in the enjoyment of treats made using foraged goods.
