2026 has been a productive year for us at LEAP Together. We’ve already launched our new Seed Libraries in Johnstone and Beith, opened Granny Mutch, our new charity shop, and carried out a successful fundraising campaign for the Larder. We set our selves an ambitious target for April's Earth Raise Fundraiser which reached to raise £10k for our Community Larder project. We knew it would be a stretch, but it was a great opportunity to see that money doubled by The Big Give. We were bowled over by all the participation from people across the community and from our Corporate sponsors. At Lochwinnoch Community Larder we’re committed to keeping this service running for as long as possible, but we need to be real about the possibility that the service may suffer some short-term reductions in order to survive the current financial situation. We have such excellent engagement and support with over 2000 members from across Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire, but mounting costs are harder to meet due to the challenging funding landscape.
